      Visitors and families with children are always welcome to enjoy the fun at our Meetings and especially on our Field Trips!
    • General Meetings

      General Meetings are the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 P.M. in the College of Idaho - Boone Science Building in Room 103. Take Interstate I-84 towards Caldwell, take Exit 29, turn south towards Caldwell, follow Franklin Road which turns into N 21st Ave. At Blaine Street, take a right, go one block and turn left on S. 20th Avenue. Go straight for 4 blocks and then turn left at Fillmore St. The building at the end of the parking lot will be Boone Science Building, enter on the west side of the building and head straight down the hall, and about half way down the hall will be room 103 on the left side.     • Field Trips

      Field trips are the Saturday following the general Meetings of March thru November.

      More information will be available at the general meetings or by contacting us via the form on the contact page.

    • Board Meetings

      Board Meetings are held on the last Monday of the month. Contact us using the form on the contact page for more information.

    Our Field Trips go from March through October of each year. The new year field trips will be posted no later than February of each year. - All trips meet at 8am and leave at 8:30am.

      Bruneau Wood Pile for Petrified Wood & Petrified Pinecones (Meet at Walter Ferry just across the Snake River on the right Side @ the boat landing).

    • *April 18th

      Big Egg Claim for Geodes. Meet at Gem Stop (HWY55&95).

    • *May 23rd

      (Morning) Rockville, OR for Leaf Fossils / (afternoon)Maple Ridge, for Petrified Wood. Meet at Gem Stop (Hwy 55&95)

    • ***June 5-7th

      Texas Springs, NV for Pink Limb Casts (Please attend May monthly club meeting for more details). (Overnight Trip)

    • ***June 19th-21st

      McDermitt, NV for a variety of Agate, Jasper and Petrified Wood. (Please attend June monthly club meeting for more details). (Overnight Trip)

    • **July 18th

      (morning)Ping Plume for agate, (afternoon)Haystack Butte for Red Jasper. Meet at Owyhee Junction (Hwy 201 and Owhyee Ave)

      Wagon Town for Bog Wood, Meet at the GEM Stop at 7am - leave at 7:30am)(HWY55&95) .

    • *September 19th

      Blue Egg Claim for Blue Opal Thunder Eggs. Meet at the Homedale, ID Park tank just E of the four corners.

    • *October 24th

      Graveyard Point for Agate and Jasper. Meet at Gem Stop (HWY55&95)
